Fibrolipoma subcutáneo en Loro Amazónico (Amazona aestiva): Evaluación clínica, histopatológica y técnica quirúrgica

Los lipomas son neoplasias benignas conformadas por adipocitos bien diferenciados, delimitados un delicado estroma fibroso reticular. Éstos constituyen el tumor cutáneo más frecuente en aves, siendo masas blandas que generalmente aparecen tejido subcutáneo. Se describe caso de loro amazónico (Amazona aestiva) cautiverio, fue llevado a consulta debido una masa ulcerada la región cadera. El diagnóstico citológico refirió se trataba lipoma, y ante ineficacia del tratamiento local, procedió con extirpación quirúrgica masa. posquirúrgico consistió limpiezas clorhexidina al 0,5 % 15 días (d), e ibuprofeno vía oral, 3 d. La remitida para su estudio histopatológico, refiriendo como morfológico fibrolipoma. puntos sutura fueron retirados los 18 d, observándose cicatrización completa.
